A Closer Look at Memory This June

by Jenny Megji

A Closer Look at Memory This June June marks Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, a time that brings broader awareness to the role memory plays in how we learn, connect, and share experiences across generations.

Recent findings from the Alzheimer's Association U.S. POINTER study found that lifestyle habits including cognitive engagement, such as engaging with computer-based brain training programs three times a week for 30 minutes, and continuous learning can help support long-term cognitive health.

Similarly, a study on cognitive brain health published by Tohoku University conducted in Japan demonstrated that seniors who practice daily math and reading exercises for 6 months showed statistically significant improvements in their brain functions.

At Fyremind, we believe learning often starts with curiosity—and that the stories, moments, and discoveries people engage with can leave lasting impressions.
